No reason it baffles when Phish are considered to be Dead! Phish is a great band, with similarities, and personally it stops right there!

I surely does stop there! Never did the Phish scene although I have a great respect for Trey and his talent. There will never, however, be another Dead.

this is actually an altered version of a Bill Graham quote:

There was a big banner saying this or it was on the marquee in - I think - the Grateful Dead movie.
I think business consultant Tom Peters reworded it and attributed it to Jerry in the form you're quoting.
